Bright lights, big city!

I am working on some new composite images for my next volume of Prisoner of the Mind. A little dirty, a little grungy, but all P.O.M. world. I'll post new sketches and artwork over the next few weeks.

This is the original pencil drawing before inking and background composite for the full image.

As I said in my previous post, I spent a lot of time working on small animations from my 2d drawings directly from the book. I was hoping that if I had enough of them, I could string them together to create a small storyline in the book teaser/trailer. Anyway, some of these worked out really well and some didn't. That is the beauty of making art, you never truly know what its going to be until its done. I'll post a few more of these in the future.

If you haven't seen this yet, check it out! This looks so cool! Check out the opening scene, it looks just like something out of Blade Runner. Great inspiration.

"Slice of Life" is an original short Science Fiction film inspired by the Blade Runner universe.

This is an amazing fan film I ran across on the RPF build log. These guys built all of their practical effects from scratch. It looks pretty beautiful, and very much in the Blade Runner realm.
