Over 100 Photos From New York Comic Con 2017

First off, it was a crazy hot and sunny day for October in New York, I think we were in the 80's. I'm not sure how, but it seems that New York Comic Con seems to get bigger every year. So take a ride with me through the mayhem at NYCC 2017.

So far uneventful, then...

Take notice of the E-Coin Bank. Uh huh, if you are a fan of Mr. Robot you'll get it. They had a full sign up as if it was a new type of banking. They were giving away a free pair of sunglasses and a key chain if you signed up for their online bank. Most people thought it was real.

Let the craziness begin.

Looks like you got a little problem with your sword pal. The Red Knight cosplay from The Fisher King.

Huge crowds opening day. It wasn't like this last year.

Guardians of the family.

Life size K-2SO on display by Sideshow.

This guy was too cool.

This dude scared me, I didn't want to get too close.

This is the place to show what you got.

SYFY had a great fan lounge up on top. More on that later.

SpongeBob photo op and a giant pineapple.

This is what Comic Con is all about.

Me and comic writer Jeremy Whitley hamming it up at the ComiXology All Star BoothJeremy Whitley is the writer of "Illegal". Jeremy is best known for his Eisner Nominated and Glyph Award winning series, "Princeless" from Action Lab Comics.

Geof Darrow. The artist of one of my favorite totally twisted stories Hard Boiled with Frank Miller.

Yes, they had beer at Comic Con, It's not just for kids anymore.

It's always fun to see creative cosplay.

The tick.

On to the SYFY Lounge.

Free T-Shirts, no quarter video game machines, free candy and lots of giveaways. Let's not forget, an actual place to sit down during the con.

Super view from up here.

Here's a little video of the sea of never ending people.

More cosplay.

More people.

Did I mention Free T-Shirts!

Don't bother me cosplay.

Planet of the Elvis.

Some pretty cool stuff by Triforce Collectibles.

Great display by EFX Collectibles.

The absolutely AWESOME PC Toys. Look at this monster, 1:3 scale SAGAT!

The Tick Series Display.

Obviously if you are a Star Wars fan, and frankly who isn't, you would be impressed with this display. It was a walk in building that almost felt like an airlock door or hallway on a ship. Every corner was filled with movie props, weapons and costumes from the film.

Caught a glimpse of Nerd of Nerds, Adam Savage giving a talk on Twitch.

Cool Toys from the Clutter booth.

There he is, your favorite Green Ranger.

Chewy Fett off duty.

AHhhh, this one made me laugh. Zelda Majora cosplay.

One of my pals Ian the creator of Nugglife! Great Show!

The usual suspect comic book publishers, which I had to make my rounds to.
