I've been working on some color comp experiments for two new comics I'm releasing next year. Up to this point, Prisoner of the Mind has always been in black and white which conveys that story very well. But my new titles need to have color so I've been working on several combinations. Both were painted in Sketchbook Pro on the iPad.

The new project is coming along in time for the new book launch next year, but it's all about draw, design, erase, test, draw, design erase, repeat... I guess that is progress. Haha, more to come.

It turns out that it was a publicity stunt for the next book in the ENDGAME series. Nice work, if anything it looks cool. Book released 10-7-14.

I've been working on some new books for 2015. I thought I'd throw this one out there for #inktober and NYC Comic Con next week. More good things to come.

There it is, a white canvas beckoning to be painted. It's almost time to break it in.

I've been working to set up my studio with all of my artistic disciplines and it's finally taking shape. I'm working on my sculpting table, and pulling out all of my old work along with it.

Something new, something old.

Prisoner of the Mind limited edition resin kit will make an appearance early next year. Finishing up packaging now.

Frog King in resin.

Mouse King in sculpy with broken bits. Many of his old friends behind him. I just stepped on the gas artistically and I've got a lot of new things coming next year, free giveaways, contests, and books in print. If you are on Instagram follow me for more.

A simple blue pencil drawing for an upcoming comic book Quantum Enigma.

Starting the inking process here.

This is the final ink.

Digital paint.

I've been absent from the social media circus for a while, but what can I say it's been a fun-filled, busy summer. Above is something I've been working on for publication next year. It's just a glimpse into my process from a simple blue line drawing, to a much more complex inking and then digital paint. Now that my studio is functional again, I will be churning out more drawings and keeping you up to date on my latest projects for comics, graphic novels and illustrations.

I'm sure I have the right pen for the job, now which one is it?
